English: This course will cover an expansion of grammar and usage fundamental with an emphasis on the further development of writing skills. Students will review library skills and literary forms such as the short story, poem, and novel. REQUIREMENTS FOR CREDIT FOR THIS COURSE INCLUDE COMPLETION OF ALL ASSIGNED THEMES, COMPOSITIONS, AND REPORTS. FAILURE TO FULFILL THESE REQUIREMENTS RESULTS IN NO CREDIT FOR THIS COURSE.
U.S. History: This junior-level course is a survey of U.S. History fromt he colonial period through present time. Illinois law also requires all students to pass the Constitution test, which covers the Federal and State Constitutions, Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Flag, and voting procedures. This test is given through the U.S. History class.
